HOW IS FINASTERIDE EFFECTIVE?
Finasteride is effective as it inhibits the type II 5-alpha reductase, which is the enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT (dihydrotestosterone). High doses of finasteride has been proven to reduce the rate of prostate cancer by 30%.
